Please keep in mind that parking is very limited in the Loose Park area. Please carpool and give yourself plenty of time to make your event. Parking is available on nearby side streets, Visitation School, Pembroke Hill School & St. Teresa Academy.

Course Highlights:
8K Run (4.97 miles)
Start: 8:00 am
We updated the 8K course this year to offer a better start and more distance on Ward Parkway. The course still winds through neighborhoods around Loose Park and now goes by the famous Meyers Circle Fountain along beautiful Ward Parkway. The 8K is chip timed, a certified MARA Grand Prix Event and has a time limit of 1 hour and 15 minutes. It also offers a good walk opportunity for those who can keep a steady pace for 4.97 miles. Timed course begins and ends at the Pavilion in Loose Park. See the section below for awards

Kiddie Dash
Start: 9:30 am
Children ages 1-8 can experience the thrill of victory on the grassy area between the Loose Park Pavilion and the Rose Garden. All children receive an award.

PACKET PICK-UP

Packet pick-up and registration will take place in Ward Parkway Shopping Center, 8600 Ward Parkway, on Friday, May 25 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, May 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 27 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and race day, at Loose Park Pavilion from 6:30 a.m. until 15 minutes prior to each event start time.

8K and 5K – Awards will be given to the top overall Male and Female and the top master (40+) Male and Female in both the 8K and 5K. The top three finishers in each age division in the 8K and 5K, male and female, will receive awards. All age group winners will receive a custom medal.

Continuing our discounts this year for Military and Youth! We are offering a Military and Youth $5 Discount for those participating in either the 8K or 5K. We ask that you provide valid ID at Packet Pickup

RACE DAY SCHEDULE: (Be sure to note start times for both the 8K and 2-Mile)
6:30 a.m. – Late registration and packet pick-up begins.
7:30 a.m. – 8K late registration and packet pick-up ends.
8:00 a.m. – 8K timed course starts.
8:15 a.m. –5K-mile late registration and packet pick-up ends.
8:40 a.m. 5K START.
9:00 a.m – 1 mile benefit Walk for Thought START (additional details to come!) Not a timed event.
9:30 a.m. – Kiddie Dash in grassy area between Pavilion and Rose Garden begins.

Both the 8K and the 5K are USATF certified courses, featuring electronic timing.
