Teams

Have a blast and create a team! Take advantage of the opportunity to help raise funds for the Brain Injury Association of Kansas and Greater KC by joining the Amy Thompson Run For Brain Injury Pledge Program and become a Team Captain!  As a Team Captain, you register for the Run, then recruit 10 (or more) individuals who pledge to raise $100 each for the Brain Injury Association.  Prizes will be awarded at various pledging levels! *

How Does it Work?

1. Register for Amy Thompson Run For Brain Injury as a participant  (your entry fee will count towards your total amount of funds raised!).

2.  Register as a Team Captain or Individual fundraiser by clicking Create A Team  or Click to Download an Individual Fundraiser Form and return to BIAKS offices.

3.  Recruit 10 team members (you can recruit more!)

4.  Fundraise – you and each team member commit to raise a minimum of $100 each.

5.  Communicate with your team by setting fundraising goals.

6.  Create a theme!

7.  Make it Fun!

8.  Receive great gifts for your efforts!

Turning in Your Pledges
There are three easy ways in which donations and pledges may be made or turned in:

Clicking - By clicking on the Fundraising Link
or
Walking – Your pledges may be turned in at Packet Pick-Up or on Race Day.
or
Mailing - Checks made payable to BIAKS (Brain Injury Association of Kansas and Greater Kansas City) may be mailed to:

Prizes
Team members will receive one of the following gifts in accordance with their fundraising efforts:

$100 - $249 –$10 gift card
$250 - $499 - $35gift card
$500 - $749 –$50 gift card
$750 – $999 - $50 gift card, Special Amy Thompson Run gift
$1000 - $1499 - $100 gift card, Special Amy Thompson Run gift
$1500 - $1999 - $150 gift card, Special Amy Thompson Run gift
$2000+ - $200 gift card, Special Amy Thompson Run gift

The top fundraiser will be awarded a special prize to be announced soon!
